Roman bridge that has the Board plan based on three perfect round arches. Stay on EN 105, between 35 and 36 km, making the detour to São Martinho do Campo. The bridge is over the river Vizela with access by Bridge Street, on the right bank, or flower of the field Street, on the opposite bank.

Old building where the Penedono City Council currently operates. Recently restored, this manor house with sober but majestic features was the former residence of the Counts of Marialva. Highlights include the carved stone windows and balconies. In the Solar do Freixo Chapel there is a sculpture of S. João Baptista, dating from the 17th century.

It started out being called Penedo do Cheira, as it was located above the town of Cheira, but was later given the name Penedo de Castro, in 1908, in honor of the writer Augusto Mendes Simões Castro.
