This is, perhaps, the most nostalgic area of the city. It is the Lisbon of the Tejo and the genuine people. On this tour, two districts are travelled over: The Prazeres and the Santo Amaro. Take delight in the river and the docks. Venture through the popular quarters like Madragoa, Calvário, Livramento or Sacramento. It is also a fun and leisure area, with warehouses transformed into bars and diverse entertaining activities. Further to the interior, grub up the valley of Alcântara by snaky mountain tracks.

Forest area with about 136 acres, located in the southwest of the Serra da Estrela mountain range, at an altitude between 790 and 1061 meters. Its flora is diverse, predominantly pines-brave, chestnut and birch trees.

Classified as a Natural Monument since October 2007, the Cabo Mondego enjoys great scientific value, pedagogical and didactic-beyond its geomorphological interest and landscape quality-in particular due to Jurassic outcrops and footprints of theropods Oxfordiana dinosaurs era. It is also part of the Natura 2000 Network.

The Bertiandos and São Pedro d'Arcos Lagoons develop around two lagoons and the banks of the Estorãos River, where the autochthonous spontaneous hydrophilic vegetation predominates. This characteristic lava tube is one of the main attractions of Porto Judeu, due to its curious characteristics and location. This cave was formed due to the eruption of the Algar do Carvão Volcano. Its name comes from some sedimentary formations on the walls and ceiling of the cave, in needle shape.

Place where several volcanic phenomena take place, as the fumaroles, which send hot gases and water vapors resulting from the infiltration of rain. They are classified as Regional Natural Monument.
