This cheese, originally from the Bragança district, is a PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) product. It is made from raw milk from Churra da Terra Quente sheep. It is a mature cheese with a semi-hard to hard texture and a color ranging from white to yellowish.

The remarkable glazed tile covering with a consistent iconographical program and the interesting views of the XVIII century Lisbon are worthy of notice.

Work of the sculptor Agostinelli, paying homage to the traditional florists of Madeira. During many years it was at the Hotel Atlantis Madeira, but after its demolition it was offered to Santa Cruz autarchy that placed it on the gardens of the Casa da Cultura (Culture house) at Quinta do Revoredo.
