Located near the city's courthouse, this 1930s building stands out for its interesting and extensive collection of tile panels. In total, there are 55 figurative panels, along with eight decorative ones made in the old Sacavém Factory, featuring tourist and regional promotional motifs. The building, which has a distinct architectural style, was built on the site where the old open-air market was held for centuries, in what was known as Praça Velha.

Simple and traditional space that presents dishes of regional cuisine, offering a beautiful view over the Aveiro estuary. Its specialties are the flavors of the sea, composed in dishes such as grouper and turbot stews, fish frittata with razor clam rice, fried cod tongues with bean rice, cod sames feijoada, and grouper or monkfish pasta with prawns. The name - dóri - is a typical nineteenth-century vessel, and one can be found inside the restaurant.

Folgosinho, located on the north slope of Serra da Estrela, at an altitude of 930 metres, was the county seat until 1836. It is known for having been mentioned in the "Lusíadas", due to Viriato who, according to legend, was born here. It has a rich cultural heritage, highlighting the archaeological site of Outeiro, the medieval walls, the pillory and the church. The population dedicates itself, in its majority, to the pastoralism, being produced in this region the famous cheese of Serra da Estrela.

It belongs to the parish of Valada and is one of the few fishing villages of Avieiros, who came from the Vieira de Leiria area, that still maintain their characteristics. The writer Alves Redol, known for writing about the Tagus River and its people, was one of the most famous inhabitants of this typical fishing village.
