The Almedina Arch was part of the medieval walls, dating back to the 11th century, as indicated by the Arabic-origin toponym meaning "the city". Today it is the entrance to old Coimbra, where one can see a sculpture from the workshop of João de Ruão. The wall has Roman origins, having been expanded several times. It presents characteristics of Roman, Muslim, Romanesque, Gothic and Manueline architecture.

The Arena Box is a multifunctional space within the Atlantic Pavilion, with a variable capacity between 500 and 4,000 people. Gathers all the conditions to receive a high diversity of events, from the pop-rock concerts, the case shows, as well as more intimate concepts of acoustic or jazz concerts, in addition to theatre or film projections.

Building composed of three towers of different dimensions, attached to each other by the houses. This set, which is structured from a 16th-century tower, is a good example of how a rural noble home has developed from a defensive Tower. It is surrounded by walls ameados. In the case of private property, it is not possible to visit the building.

Mermaid fountain, eighteenth century, includes a handsome pediment with the Royal Arms surmounted by a figure of a woman wielding a horn, allusion to the legend that is at the origin of the toponym, and according to which, during the Moorish occupation a woman was watching the horizon making sound the Horn in case of imminent danger and to "tom" everybody brought to defend the village.

Porto and the sea are as one. This zone was once in great demand because of its beaches, but nowadays that demand has being reducing due to the quality. There are, though, other attractions like walking areas. Often seek at weekends, this place may be a good choice for some leisure hours.
