With gothic characteristics, this temple has three naves divided on the façade by two counterforts. The portic is ogival with multiple archivolts, sided by two niches with sculptures. The high altar is baroque.

Processing factory of wool and cotton, opened in 1772 by order of the Marquis of Pombal. The building was recovered in the 21st century, already being installed here the Town Hall.

Monastery founded in the 12th century by D. Soeiro and his companions, initially obedient to the Rule of S. Bento. Initially it was used as a male monastery of the Order of Cistercians. Inside the building, it is worthy to mention the Main Room, the dining room from the ends of the 18th century and painted in frescoes by Pillement. The Queen D. Carlota Joaquina was incarcerated here after refusing to swear loyalty to the 1822 Constitution. Presently it has the São José College belonging to the Portuguese Dominican Sisters.

Road axis with an average width of 4.5 metres and a length of about 800 metres, deployed a geomorphologically flat. The material used in its construction is the granite, visible especially at the level of the lateral supports and beams.
