The Vila Guiomar is a recreational Farm with Art Nouveau features, dating from the early 20TH century by Dr. Jose parvathy Noronha Galvão. Former belonging to the solar Boiler Devendragandre de Bourbon, extended in 1867 and converted into rural tourism unit in 2004. It is situated near the Serra da Estrela, Gardunha and Malcata, where you can visit the historic villages and delight in the regional gastronomy. Many animal species can be seen there, such as the Iberian lynx, the golden eagle, the black stork and the black vulture.

Located on a granite outcrop, in the parish of Pinheiros, the rock engravings of Cabeço das Pombas constitute an artistic-religious manifestation of great importance, with supposed origins in the Bronze Age, although their exact symbolism is unknown. It is believed that they were associated with a ceremonial cult. The figures inscribed on the rock are grouped into sets, engraved at different times, the oldest being the central one.
