17th century palace, built by Miguel Pais Amaral. It features a façade cut by wide pilasters and two rows of windows with lintels decorated with "Rocaille" style motifs. It has an emblazoned door and, above, a balcony with stone balusters that serve as protection for the main floor door. The south façade has a double veranda with round arches and an original staircase. Also noteworthy is the chapel invoking Saint Bernard.

The construction of the primitive church was initiated at th end of the 17th century. Considred insufficient for all the faithful that came by, it was enlarged from the middle of the 18th century until the first decades of the 19th century, at which time the façade was finished. The tiles on the walls of the main chapel and the vault, reconstructed after the earthquake of 1755, are of the 18th century. One should pay close attention to the interior with rococo sculptures.

Located in the center of the parish of Vila Chã de Ourique, this monument commemorates the Battle of Ourique, fought between Afonso Henriques and the Muslims in 1139, a battle which some historians believe took place in this location. The monument, situated near the main church, was inaugurated in 1932 and is made of white marble. At the top is a statue known as "Saramaga," adorned with two handles. The Bridge Street background is one of the main medieval crossings that ensured the passage over the river Ewe, way of Marão, westbound and This. Their size reveals the importance of its existence, certainly repaired and expanded, as proved by the works documented in the 17th century. Not being a pure copy of Romanesque construction, has, however, all the elements that characterize it, being one of the most interesting and best-preserved crossing regional models.

The ruins of a 3rd century roman village made of two residential areas. The main area is by the port, as is the bathhouse, the necropolis, the dam and the place where the fish was salted. There are marble friezes and fragments of painted plaster which decorated the walls, as well as the remains of floors with polychrome mosaics. One can also find two rectangular tanks where the fish was salted. It is classified as a building of Public Interest.

A lagoon of approximately 1.3 km² with an elongated shape, formed by two main lagoon bodies connected by a narrow channel. Surrounded by vast sandy cliffs, this location has calm waters and serves as a refuge for migratory, aquatic, and wading birds. It is believed that this lagoon may have been the Tagus River's route to the sea, located 150 meters away. This fish spawning ground has protected dunes.

The sand is a little bumpy, descends toward the sea, in some areas is Rocky and, in August, the Norther characteristic of these beaches can be troublesome.
