The Paços de Ferreira Urban Park is one of the few nationwide located in the city center. It covers approximately 195,000 square meters, a green haven in direct contact with the rural landscape. It is an environmentally focused, rural, and recreational park, ideal for sports, cultural development, and social interaction among young people and families.

Formerly a garden supporting the Thermal Hospital, the D. Carlos I Park, a true green lung of Caldas da Rainha, has extensive trees and lawns. Since its inauguration in 1892, it has been considered a traditional public promenade in the city, both for its recreational aspect (the lake has recreational boats) and for its cultural aspect (the space next to the José Malhoa Museum is used for exhibitions).

The Ul River Urban Park, a green space covering an area equivalent to 30 football fields, is a modern and functional place for walks and leisure. Located in the city center, it was designed by architect Sidónio Pardal and is characterized by its surrounding granite walls and a wooded interior that winds along the Ul River. It is a spacious area that invites long walks or family outings amidst the coolness of the river and the weirs that were built there.

A well-maintained municipal park, with plenty of trees, benches distributed throughout the area, as well as good lighting and pedestrian paths. There are open spaces within the park where a fitness trail can be found.

The Ribeira de Pena Environmental Park, located in Bucheiro, was inaugurated in 2007, following a strategy of preserving, promoting, and disseminating the municipality's natural and environmental resources. Its 18 hectares are home to diverse species of fauna and flora, and include wooded areas with native species (maritime pine, oak, birch, poplar, ash, chestnut...), as well as two interpretation centers and an environmental workshop. Visitors can also purchase aromatic and medicinal plants for a symbolic price. The characteristic flax cultivation has a dedicated space in the park, with a cultivation area open to visitors. A spacious and pleasant area comprising a swimming pool, a multi-sports court, a fitness trail, a children's playground, a picnic area, and a campsite. It offers visitors all the conditions to enjoy the monumental heritage and, at the same time, appreciate the beauty of the landscape and the natural richness of the region.

It contains approximately two hundred trees, as well as a children's playground and ample spaces for picnics and exercise.

It was built in the 1960s and covers approximately 38,000 square meters. Surrounded by a wall on all sides, it is bordered by houses, the river, the school, and the park's facilities. Currently, it belongs to the Regional Directorate of Agriculture of Trás-os-Montes. It is an excellent place to visit with family and friends. There are spaces for running, playing, picnicking, fishing, and even swimming in the river.
