The restaurant\/bar BLU, inserted at the Hotel Marques de Pombal, is open every day from 10:30 to 12:30 am. With a glance at the Avenida da Liberdade, the restaurant features a fixed letter, where you can find a good variety of fish, meats, pastas, salads and desserts, plus a specialty of the head which varies daily.

One of the most fantastic beach restaurants throughout the Algarve and also one of the oldest. Situated on Três Irmãos beach, the restaurant and bar Caniço is literally located in a grotto of the cliff. Access via a tunnel and a lift, from the Village of Prainha. Fresh fish and seafood dominate a menu. Good wine list. As one would expect, the restaurant is closed during the winter.

Formerly, this was the right spot (and preferred) of drivers of trucks in Senhora da Hora. Hence the name. Today, however, the clientele is more than corporate workers around during the day, and students at night, all on demand.

The Dom restaurant Fork contains three nice rooms, well decorated and cozy, where are served good creative cuisine. At the Pedro Lemos restaurant, gastronomy takes on new approaches, always with a focus on traditional haute cuisine that marks the chef's work. The best ingredients combine with the chef's talent and excellent service to provide new gastronomic and wine experiences in a more minimalist space that continues to be synonymous with sophistication and good food. The quality of the space has already been awarded a Michelin Star.

Characterized by a strong rural component, this set was once the centre of a playground area, in the town suburbs, organized in several farms, most of them long lost. Standing out there is a small house from the “pombalino” period, on the north top of the square, the asylum-school building “Viscondessa dos Olivais”, with more noble characteristics, and the Santa Mary church, with an initial 17th century sketch and profoundly altered after the earthquake.

Located in a valley adjacent to the Serra dos Candeeiros, it is bathed by a stream that originates in the picturesque site of Olhos de Água. Here, you'll find beautiful natural caves and rooms with stalactites, calcite crystals, and remains of bones. Among the architectural heritage, a megalithic dolmen (Property of Public Interest) attached to the church stands out, containing a fifteenth-century sculpture, and traces of Roman times, evident in the ruins of a communal oven.

Opened in December, 19th, 1941, the Coliseu is the biggest playhouse in the north region of the country, with 3000 seats. It has been welcoming great show names, from Bob Dylan, Caetano Veloso, Amália Rodrigues, to the big orchestras, such as the Munich Band, Paris Band and to the great opera singers such as José Carreras and Monserrat. It presents several cultural events, from which we point out the musical and dancing shows.

High quality Hotel located near the mouth of hell, in Cascais. The complex arose from the conversion of the old residences of King Humberto II of Italy and of the family Pinto Basto. The decor was thought to detail, with elements in stone marble and Venetian mosaic, recreating a classic environment.
