A museum since June 2007, even though it still functions as a lighthouse. Besides the exhibitions space, one can get to know everything there is to know about Portugal's lighthouses.

The Companhia das Lezírias is famous for its wines and its horse breeding. Its restaurant is also quite appreciated with fine dishes of the Ribatejo region. On saturdays the motto is: those who can eat all the country buffet won't have to pay for their meal. It is a rather well served banquet, meaning every customer will pay their bill in the end. On sundays, on can enjoy the "cozido bravo ribatejano" for only 15.5 €. A welcoming space where reservations are recommended, mostly on the weekends.

The Litre & restaurant co., installed in space Innovation of Vila Verde owes its name to the oversized wine bottles. In this modern space, the wine gets a special mention, in conjunction with a contemporary kitchen. In this House of the Bairrada region, the fish and seafood are the major stars in the kitchen of chef Gonçalo Soares. The piglet does not enter the letter, where the stews and the fries are the specialties.

A garden located in the city centre where one can find a monument that pays homage to Soares dos Reis (19th century sculptor) and a small yet beautiful lake with a staircase, surrounded by some trees.

The garden goes back to 1881, being that in 1930 a monument paying homage to Alfredo Keil, composer and the author of the National Hymn, was raised. It has small lake and about 12 species of trees, with a coralina and a sumauma with 14 metres high standing out.

Space located on the Tower of Almedina, which allows visitors to discover the medieval city of Coimbra. In its interpretive center, you can see a model of the medieval town and, on the top floor, you can get a magnificent view over the whole city.

Housed in the former county jail building, built in 1844, across from City Hall, here you can explore a remarkable archaeological collection that traces the human presence in the region, from the Paleolithic to the medieval period. Of particular note is Miróbriga, an important Roman settlement, which occupies a special place in this museum, with a dedicated room where you can view exhumed pieces.

Temple from the 13th century. It appears to have been part of a Convent of Benedicts, still in the period when the town was called Nabância. It was rebuilt by D. Gualdim Pais, in 1160, who made it the pantheon of the Templars in Portugal. Its structure presents transition elements from the Romanesque to the Gothic style, the latter being predominant.
