The Alchemy is a modern and refined restaurant, integrated into the H2otel Congress Medical SPA, & in Unhais da Serra. Now in charge of the Brazilian Valdir Lubave chef, the Alchemy presents itself with new flavors, always accompanied by a friendly and attentive service.

Pictures of Marilyn Monroe, John Wayne and Elvis Presley, among other north-American idols, compose this place. The sonority, as it is easy to see, is based on rock and blues from the 50’s and 60’s. It closes during July, August and September.

Located within the Serra do Açor Protected Landscape Area, near the village of Benfeita, Fraga da Pena is a kind of miniature replica of Poço do Inferno in the Serra da Estrela mountain range. As the waters of the Barroca das Degrainhas stream flow towards the Ribeira da Mata stream, they encounter a drop of more than 20 meters, forming a waterfall and, below, a small lagoon. The rock formation is entirely covered in moss and surrounded by vegetation. The temperature there, even in summer, is extraordinarily low.

This site offers fantastic views of the green hills of Chã da Cruz, with the blue of the Ocean as a backdrop.
