This is one of the rock art sites in the Valley of the Coa, forming a rare set of this type of art, essentially composed of stone engravings dated from the Upper Paleolithic. This core consists of two rocks that have support writing of filiform reasons. On the left bank of ribeira is a vertical panel in shale showing how central motif equidae, while on the right bank can observe various Zoomorphic representations.

Situated on the dock of Santo Amaro, along with boats and the bridge over the Tagus River, this is a restaurant specializing in the best in terms of fresh fish. The customer can choose not only the fish they want most, but also how it comes. It should, however, take a look at other suggestions off the menu because they are equally appealing. All this in a welcoming space, heated by a stove in winter, and with plenty of light throughout the year.

Pedestrian trail with a length of around eight kilometers, along which you will pass through beautiful green fields and some small waterfalls. The trail runs along Rua de São José, with Ribeira das Barrelas on your right. This path presents several views over the south coast of São Miguel Island and, on days with good visibility, you can even see Santa Maria Island.

This is one of many existing ponds on the island of Flores. Belong to the set of Seven Lakes that were formed into seven volcanic craters caused by the eruptions that gave rise to the island. The remaining ponds of this set are the White Pond, Long Pond, a shallow lagoon, Lagoa da Lomba, Deep lagoon and the Lagoa Seca. Its name comes from its dark waters due to depth, which reaches the 100 meters.

Located next to the Public Garden in a building designed by the architect Raul Lino, it displays over a thousand pieces that are no longer in use in religious settings. It includes works of painting, goldsmithing, sculpture, vestments, and metalwork. Among its vast collection are outstanding pieces such as the Reliquary of the Holy Wood, the image of the Deposed Christ, and the Infant Jesus with the Top Hat. In addition to the permanent exhibition rooms, it has a temporary exhibition room and an internal garden.

This is one of the most beautiful viewpoints on the island of Flores, offering privileged views over Caldeira Rasa and Caldeira Funda. The latter reaches a depth of more than 100 meters.
