A space that is a library, an auditorium and an exhibitions room.

Founded in 1841 and a part of the University of Minho since 1975, it posesses a valuable book collection.

The space includes several rooms devoted to reading and other for specific activities: exhibitions room, children's room and atelier, among others.

Library that assembles about 26 thousand volumes of the work of Dulce Ferrão, important journalist, writer and historian. This cultural space also has a complete bibliographic selection about contemporary Portugal, with special attention to the history of the 1st Republic, Estado Novo and Colonial War. Other works of reference about themes such as the French Revolution, the world wars or the great classics of national and foreign literature can also be consulted here.

Emblazoned house from the 18th century located next to an old Benedictine convent. It has a two-story facade with a balcony over the main door, surmounted by the coat of arms and a ducal crown. Inside, a plaster ceiling with paintings is worth highlighting. It currently houses the Aquilino Ribeiro Municipal Library.

Situated in the historic centre of Alcácer do Sal, Salemas Manor built by Rui Salema stands out not only for its architecture, but also by history that bears witness. Currently is working in this building the municipal library.

Old solar dos Viscondes of Bettencourt, located behind the Cathedral, inserted in the central area of the city of Angra do Heroísmo. It is a Baroque building built in the late 17th century, the early 18TH century. Currently, works here the library and the Hall of records.
