Ínsua Fort is situated on a rocky islet and has an irregular polygonal shape. Inside the wall is a small chapel that displays the design of the original Romanesque temple. On the terraces, you can see some bronze artillery pieces on iron carriages.

This Gothic temple is built of granite. The façade features a Renaissance portal crowned by a rose window and is flanked by a tower. Inside, one can see 17th-century tiles, gilded altarpieces in the national style, and two Neo-Manueline confessionals.

This is a typical Alentejo rurality construction, consisting of: narthex, nave, chancel, baptistery and sacristy. Inside, the chancel, one can see a mural musicians with angels in female attire and tiles, the latter, replaced during the restoration, in 1996, as happened with the pavement.

Simple facade portico, white-washed, surmounted by battlements and respective merlons. On the side you can see the Royal arms, open Crown, flanked by the armillary sphere of the founder, King d. Manuel I, known as King Does.

The most relevant decorative characteristics of this palace are the stucco and the glazed tiles. The Salad as Batalhas, that evokes the heroic exploits of the Conde da Torre, is in the limelight. The yard gives access to the Chape and Venus Garden and here is also the Casa de Fresco. In front is the Lago Grande (big lake) that accompanies the Galeria dos Reis.
