Built in the 20th century, this old prison was used to serve a prison sentence of up to 3 months, which involved intimidation and continuous isolation in a cell, except for prisoners who adopted good behavior. It currently houses municipal services.

Prehistoric necropolis, of large size, consisting of approximately 62 grave tumuli, mostly containing megalithic dolmen. Its isolated location and covered with undergrowth, far from any urban agglomerate, is the basis of a good preservation and easier viewing.

River beach with good infrastructure, located about 13 kilometers from Vila de Rei. Here you can also find the bridge of the three counties, where converge the municipalities of Vila de Rei, Sertã and Mação.

On a narrow, flat beach, after a steep descent made by many steps, is this beach, used largely by tourists from the hotel sets that surround the area. The sea invites you to some nautical activities or swimming. The water is of good quality.

Located near a wood quay with excellent views of it. The "coentrada" cuttlefish, its main speciality, as well as the shellfish rice, the wreckfish pasta, the eel "caldeirada" and stew are all very good. Before coffee, do taste the chocolate mousse.

Simple space known for its francesinhas and gizzards. Also serves a wide variety of dishes from traditional Portuguese cuisine, as well as seafood. Location for good snacks. Have specials at prices very affordable. It also serves as coffee.

A restaurant located right in the city's river area, that stands out for its decor, its long tables and benches, its iron chandeliers and its large iron bars on the ceiling. It serves fin regional dishes and good wines.
