There, it is possible to learn about the history of the museum ship, which was restored in 1992, after a fire destroyed part of it, in 1963, and was open to the public at EXPO 98. Through an audio guide, it is possible to delve into naval history and travel back in time.

A house with a rectangular plan and two floors, construction attributed to the House of Bragança. The "Paços do Concelho", the Courthouse and the Municipal Administration were located here until the beginning of the 20th century. Later it had other functions, namely Jailhouse of the parish on the first floor that still has windows with iron bars. On the south façade, one can view two lateral flights of stairs that unite before the second floor with an entrance topped by the House of Bragança's coat of arms.

This is one of the two megalithic monuments located along the road that connects Montalegre to the border, about 400 meters before the last crossing for a planed Sendim tea. This church is already mentioned in documents dating from 1220, as an integral part of the patronage of the Monastery of Santa Maria de Pombeiro.
