Building from the XVII century, sober and elegant, whose construction was ordered by the family Guilherme da Cunha. It suffered important works in the XX century and is, since then, the District archive of Castelo Branco.

Tourist beach with lots of animation. It is located to the north of Figueira da Foz and has an extensive beach and waves called "direitaças", perfect for surf and windsurf lovers. A lot of beach bars and restaurants.

Ending by a cliff, it has an acceding tunnel by Inatel. According to the Instituto da Água (Water Institute), in the year of 2001 the water had bad quality. It has a pleasant terrace and restaurants nearby.
