There were four gates of the city, some have already destroyed, but keeping the names of antiquity. It's still the portas de Santo António, located to the Northeast, today enters the city. The Wicket is a small Gothic door, situated to the East, checking in only the pawns. To the Southwest is the fence gate, in good condition and to the North are the doors of Nossa Senhora do Amparo.

Pleasant tour through the town’s historical zone, in XIX century tram cars. The tour begins at the Comércio Square and it’s escorted by a interpreter guide. It lasts an hour and a half and allows you to know the particular atmosphere that exists in this typical Lisbon Square – Alfama, Graça, Baixa, Estrela, Sétima Colina.

A hiking trail that begins in Miranda do Corvo, passing through Gondramaz and the abandoned village of Cadaval. It covers approximately 7.5 kilometers and lasts between 2.5 and 3 hours. Along the way, in addition to the fauna and flora, you can delight in the charms of the preserved villages, all built of schist.

The Trilho dos Moinhos e Regadios Tradicionais (Tradiktional Mills and Watering Areas Trail) crosses the rural villages of Lagoa, Sequeirós and Pergoim. It is a small, 9 km long, trail, that lasts about 4 hours. A special note to the belvedere at the Alto do Espigão and to the old outdates roads.

An easy pedestrian trail that is 11 km long and lasts about four and a half hours. One gets acuqianted with some of the council's marvels, namely the City Fortress and the village of Cossourado. The trail is thus named because it passes by several landmarks that used to indicate the roman miles of the military route.

This space, located at the Maiashopping, is devoted to the youngsters. This is a playground for children between 2 and 12 years old. The monitoring is made by qualified staff, and you can paint, read, play use the computer, among other activities, for the price of 3€ per hour. This place is also the stage for birthday parties.

Walking tour with 9 Km, when one can enjoy the fresh, natural beauty of this site. Along the way is the Geoponto da Mesquita (mosque) that you must visit.

A space that is approximately 50 hectares large, with wide lawns, supporting structures, benches and several shades. A most pleasant place that should be visited when one comes to Almada.

This is a humble house, where the painter Albino José Moreira was born and died. This is the home of the painter’s daughter and it’s not open for the general public. Only school may visit for free, with an appointment.

Space opened in November 2008, intended for young people from 13 to 35 years, where you can study, attend debates, workshops and ateliers and visiting exhibitions.
