The current building dates from the late 17th century\/early 18TH century, rising till then in the 16th century, the primitive Church location from which only the holy water and sink some hispano-Arab tiles reused. It is a Mannerist style church with nave and vaulted chancel, which currently houses the Municipal Library entries pole of Castro Verde.

The church dates back to the 17th century, with a single nave and a façade in Joanine Baroque style. Inside, the images and ceiling of the main altar stand out, with 36 paintings of saints and other sanctified symbols of martyrs from the early church. The oil paintings, by master Jerónimo da Cunha, date from the 18th century. Also, noteworthy is the gilded carving.

The main façade stands over a landing where one arrives from a stairway, under which there is passing water. One should notice the three stonework portals with a straight rod in architrave, the taller middle one, with an interrupted triangular gable, a cruxifix and forged iron gratings. Inside, one should pay close attention to the sculptured panel and to the side walls with blue painted wood.

17th century palace, built by Miguel Pais Amaral. It features a façade cut by wide pilasters and two rows of windows with lintels decorated with "Rocaille" style motifs. It has an emblazoned door and, above, a balcony with stone balusters that serve as protection for the main floor door. The south façade has a double veranda with round arches and an original staircase. Also noteworthy is the chapel invoking Saint Bernard.

The construction of the primitive church was initiated at th end of the 17th century. Considred insufficient for all the faithful that came by, it was enlarged from the middle of the 18th century until the first decades of the 19th century, at which time the façade was finished. The tiles on the walls of the main chapel and the vault, reconstructed after the earthquake of 1755, are of the 18th century. One should pay close attention to the interior with rococo sculptures.

This monument’s construction was ordered by the Town Hall, paying homage to Gago Coutinho and Sacadura Cabral, the two Portuguese aviators that did, for the first time, the air crossing of the Atlantic-South (Lisbon-Rio de Janeiro) on the single-motor hydroplane “Lusitânia”. The monument is represented by the armillary sphere on top and a stone basis with commemorative inscriptions. It is placed near the city centre, in a square also called “the aviators”.

The Tavern Restaurant Grocery Sebastião, in Santarém, the walls of the rooms are painted with designs, where you have the perspective of being inside a Bullring. With irony in dash, demonstrates the good will of the House, betting on the gathering around the table to win customers. Also gives much attention to wine, in jars and in large quantities, and the snacks, freshly made, warm and to share. Time to pay a € 10 Note still got change.

Opened in 1915, was designed by the architect João Moura Coutinho, constituting the most important work of Braga from the beginning of the century. Until the 30, schedule alternated Theatre, cinema, circus and music. Passed through here all the theatre companies of the time. In 1999 enters works and, after seven years with works of refurbishment, opened again to the public, in 2006, with two rooms (a small auditorium with 236 places and a choir room) and with the replacement of the moth of the Hall.

Of the old village of Jarmelo, currently, only a set of ruins remain located on an elevation from which you can see a vast area, from Serra da Estrela to Serra da Marofa. The story goes that, because of the love between the Infante Dom Pedro and Inês de Castro, this village suffered great violence, and the consequences are still clearly visible today.
