This is the first open-air Paleolithic rock art site to be discovered in Portugal, in 1981. The engravings depict three zoomorphic motifs, the most prominent of which is a horse. The site is known by local residents as Carneira.
Fortified village with the Bronze Final occupation. Features good defensive conditions and traces of four lines of walls (three concentric and almost a fourth in two of the sides) and dwellings. Are classified as Property in the public interest. This site it is possible to get a phenomenal view over the Valley in which it sits.
In this space one can view exhibitions of agricultural artefacts, a collection of oxes carts, home utensils and other utensils for several professions. The aim is to exhibit the traditional life and the ethnography of the region. Other exhibiteed objects are toys, regional clothings, music instruments as well as other relics typical of the region.
