This Chapel, dating from the 17TH century, it was later altered in the 18TH century and expanded in the 20th century. It was built on a very simple vernacular style, standing out the shot of the facades in cornice in whole rolls and the main altarpiece.

Chapel of longitudinal plant consisting of a nave and a chancel, with differentiated coverage on gable roof. Highlight the arched portals full and broken arch, the dogs of the headboard and the broken arch, decorated with geometric motifs. It was built in the 12th century\/XIII, suffering several subsequent transformations.

This Chapel is rare in the area, since it has a polygonal plan with nave and chancel. We highlight the triumphal arch and the main facade cornice that divides the belfry in two tiers.

This former Train station is now working as a restaurant a space to organize marriages and other events. Here is a monument paying homage to Nossa Senhora da Paz (Our Lady of Peace), built in the sequence of the bombing of Funchal in 1917, by German submarines.

Farm set on a slope where the manor house comes forth with two floors from the middle of the XX. It was restored in 1960 and is now a private residence.

Originally this stone column was about 30 metres high and 3 metres of diameter, but in 1939 it was put down to built the present Avenida do Mar. In 1987 it was partially rebuilt with some of the original stones, not far from the place where it used to be. Its name is due to the responsible of the construction, the English John Light Banger.

Construction dated from the end of the XVII century, being at that time the Santa Casa da Misericórdia and its Hospital. It was later the Medical School of Funchal and is now the Regional Government Palace.

Large baroque palace with a three floors rectangular plant, built in the XVII century. The ground floor has shops and storehouses and the 1st floor services, among which the Juvenile Court of Funchal.
