Journey back in time over 300 million years at Dino Parque, Portugal's largest open-air museum and the largest exhibition of Upper Jurassic dinosaur fossils in Iberia. Explore the four trails, which represent some of the most important periods in Earth's history (the late Paleozoic, the Triassic, the Jurassic, and the Cretaceous) and showcase approximately 120 dinosaur models.

Parque municipal treated well, very wooded, with seats distributed throughout the space, as well as good lighting and pedestrian pathways. There are open space inside the Park, where it is possible to find a maintenance circuit.

Parque Verde da Ponte is located next to Ribeira de Mortágua, being the perfect place for resting, socializing and leisure. Here the water, trees of different species and the green of the grassy spaces predominate. The surrounding area invites you to exercise. It has a picnic area and multipurpose playground.

Space also known as Parque Florestal de Recreio farm of the Falca, with an area of six hectares, located approximately 452 metres above sea level. Has maintenance circuits, pedestrian circuits, leisure areas and picnic parks. This is an area where there are several species of plants, including some exotic.

This area is characterized by the existence of many agricultural farms whose lands where afterwards used for construction. The Parque Urbano do Vale do Fundão was born from the improvement of the surrounding areas. It has many trees and is calm.

Espaço verde urbano com 27 hectares, situado no centro da cidade de Vila Nova de Famalicão. É um local privilegiado de contacto com a natureza, lazer, convívio e desporto. O rio Pelhe, que atravessa o parque em toda a sua extensão, contribui para a sua beleza. Propicia ainda cultura e a educação, vertentes para as quais contribuem os edifícios aí implantados, a Casa do Território, o Anfiteatro e os Serviços Educativos.

The "Parque de Lazer da Seroa" (Seroa's Leisure Park) has more than 16000 square metres of a green and pleasant area. It has a lake where one can ride "gaivotas", a children's playground, a bandstand for music and theatre shows, a bar and several maintenance trails. Water is essential and permanent throughout the park that is crossed by three wooden bridges.

The Municipal Park has a restaurant and café, as well as tables and benches for picnickers. It also includes the Leiria tennis club, basketball and handball courts, a playground and small lakes. It is also known as Parque do Avião, for having exposed an airplane.
