This House was built in 1917 and worked here so's only hotel-Hotel Club Baleal beach. While remaining within the same family, has become a Guest House, with views of the sea and the Ilha das Berlengas. The environment is familiar, apart from being a great place not only to relax, but also to practice water sports.

After the earthquake, the Marquês de Pombal promoted the opening of taverns, being the Martinho da Arcada the oldest (1782). Located in one of the arcades of the Comércio Square, the interior of the café gives a close image to what might have been the outline of the establishments of that period. This 14th century construction was enlarged afterwards. It possesses a closed yard with Gothic arcade. On the yard corner there is a Renaissance pavilion with a small dome. The classification a Building of Public Interest includes the Palace, a vaulted chapel, two decorative fountains, an obelisk raised for the King D. João VI and Senhor da Serra chapel existing on the garden.
