These thermal baths are located in the heart of the Peneda-Gerês National Park, an area of ​​extreme beauty with breathtaking lakes and mountains. Already known to the Romans, their exploitation resumed during the reign of King John V. In 1897, the original baths were demolished to make way for new buildings and water catchment. The waters are especially recommended for the treatment of liver and gallbladder problems, obesity, diabetes, and high blood pressure. They also offer programs for dietary re-education, weight loss, physical and psychological relaxation, physical recovery, and stress relief.

Bring your camera because at this spot you can take photos of one of the most beautiful landscapes in the entire municipality and one of the most impressive in our country. Located at an altitude of 829 meters, from here you can see the entire Gerês valley and the Caniçada reservoir.

Located next to the Gerês Thermal Baths building, this is a great place to relax. A very beautiful park with areas of spontaneous vegetation and landscaped gardens. It has a lake with ducks where you can go boating. It also features swimming pools, a fitness trail, a bar, and a playground. It is only open during the summer season, and an entrance fee is required.

A dense, verdant forest, considered representative of the primeval forest. There is also a trout hatchery here. During the summer, car traffic is restricted, as it is considered the only "virgin" forest in Portugal.

A viewpoint offering beautiful views over the island's beaches, the port, and the vastness of the ocean. It also preserves some old mills, once used to grind wheat and other grains.

This fantastic viewpoint allows you to see almost the entire island. It's a privileged vantage point for observing Ilhéu de Baixo or Ilhéu da Cal, and it's even possible to see the Desertas Islands and Madeira Island in the distance.
