This Environmental Interpretation Center aims to simultaneously pay tribute to Dalberto Pombo (a citizen who dedicated much of his life to research and teaching in the field of natural history), establish a multifunctional space focused on environmental issues, and enhance Vila do Porto's built heritage.

Casa de turismo rural with three floors, the family Rovisco Pais since the 18th century. It was completely remodeled and equipped with all amenities and ready to receive visitors. It has green areas, swimming pool, wine cellar and is near the historic location of the White House.

A small palace of bourgeois features, where one should notice the symmetry of the façades and the axis of the prominent main façade. One should also pay close attention to the grandeur of the atrium and the stairway leading up to the main floor, as well as the mural paintings in some of the rooms.

This castle was formerly a Lusitanian fortification, but it was the Romans who made it militarily important. During the reign of King Dinis, fortification and expansion work was carried out, with six towers being erected and walls being built around the town. After losing its defensive function, the castle fell into decline. Currently, only a few sections of the walls, some gates, and two towers remain. Near the historic centre of Tavira, this convent, founded in 1606, works as an inn since the last century. Its architecture is of rare beauty, being that the present rooms were built from the monks’ cells, now quite comfortable and well furnished.

The "Casa do Penedo" (Penedo House) is a rural farm that produces agricultural goods, including wine. Nevertheless, it has been remodelled and is now a good place to spend the free times with activities for children between 4 and 16 years of age.

These ancient firewood ovens, built in the early 20TH century 20, testify to the work and the art of potters that here amassavam, and coziam served the clay, which is then used to coat the houses on the island. In 2007 were recovered and can now be seen properly.

The Miradouro da Ermida da Senhora da Cola is a popular pilgrimage site, from where it is possible to enjoy a fabulous landscape over the valleys of Ourique.

This is a municipal site, dedicated to sports, inserted in the tourist complex of Manizola of the Câmara Municipal de Arraiolos. Here you can practise sports freely and relaxed.

Founded in 1984, the museum is composed of the Archaeology and History Section, Naval Section, Water Section, Capuchos Convent, Medieval/Modern Section and Arcaheological Site of Almaraz.
