Restaurant located near the sea and the commercial area of Funchal. It offers regional Portuguese cuisine and the specialities are the grilled codfish and the regional espetada (meat roasted on a spit).

Considered one of the best restaurants of the region boasts a rustic decor and engaging, with several old photographs of Macedo de Cavaleiros and curios for use in kitchens in the region.

Stage of bullfighting and centrepieces with around 4500 places, the Bullring of Alcácer is classified as private first class. João Branco Núncio, son of Earth, gives its name to this place of worship and tradition. There are two races of bulls that are held captive, one in June, at the time of the fair Pimel and another in early October, at the New Fair of Alcácer.

This fort was built around 1640 during the Restoration War. It features two bastions connected by walls. One of the walls has a staircase that leads to the upper terrace, where the lighthouse stands out due to its disproportionate size compared to the rest of the building. In the early 19th century, it underwent alterations to make it more militarily suitable.

Commissioned by Governor Duarte Sodré Pereira to defend that anchorage, this small fort was built in the early 20th century to replace an earlier 16th-century fortification dedicated to Saint Sebastian, which had been destroyed by a strong alluvial flood in 1803. It is a circular tower with a revivalist design, retaining the original Baroque inscription and coat of arms.

Although its foundation dating from medieval times, in the 16th century, was completely rebuilt. Of the primitive building remains, only, the Gothic bell, the polychrome image of our Lady of Rocamador, 14TH century and a sepulchral slab. In the early 16th century are visible the sink of holy water and a footer of Mudejar tiles, geometric star and enameled.

Of existence already referenced from 1105, this church was completely remodeled in the 13th century, on the initiative of d. Mafalda, daughter of Sancho I, acquiring Romanesque moth. In 1668 proceeded to the original ship's demolition to make way for another broader and therefore the only Romanesque elements remaining today are the headboard and the respective transept. Abroad, the frieze of geometric motifs recalls the decoration of the Visigothic, Mozarabic and times while in interior decoration shows the Baroque style. Beside the Bell Tower added in 1820, is a sarcophagus. It was declared a national monument in September 29, 1977.

This museum is located in a magnificent barn of the 1700s. It features regional craftswork, the workshops where they are made and one can also taste regional products (under previous appointment).

Located in the historic area of Ponte de Lima, this welcoming restaurant occupies the space of an ancient regional barn. It serves quite well prepared dishes of the Minho region.
