The Yoga Áshrama Of Coimbra was created in 2011 through the sponsorship of Grand Master Amrta Súryánanda – Jorge Veiga and Castro, and of a group of practitioners of this locality. Is dedicated exclusively to the dissemination and practice Of Yoga – Yoga Total, preserving it from modern simplifications and of Hercules and hyped. Is one of the many existing Áshrama across the country, affiliated to the Portuguese Confederation of Yoga, Yoga and Lusa Federation Lusa Association of Yoga.

Opened in October 2001, this infrastructure is ready to receive athletes from various disciplines and at all levels of competition, constituting one of the major stakes of the municipality. Situated in the former Episcopal Palace since 1971, it was created in 1910 in the Convent of the Capuchos, by the archaeologist and personality of several interests in science and the arts for whom it bears the name. The original organization was based on the founder's archaeological collection, later reinforced with pieces from the Episcopal Palace and with archeology spoils and the typical embroidered bedspreads. In the temporary exhibitions, works of textile art, sacred art and ethnography stand out.

Open since 1985, it is one of the oldest museums in the country dedicated to the theme of wine. It aims to promote traditions linked to the rural world, especially wine production and vine cultivation. It evokes the history and the different steps necessary for wine production, from planting the vines to bottling. It has a typical tavern, a restored old wine cellar, and a permanent exhibition with decorations alluding to bulls, horses, and cowboys.

From the services made available by this Foundation, a special note to a kindergarten, an ATL (occupation of spare times for children) and home support for old people. This foundation has promoted the Professional School of Torredeita and Cooperates with the Folk Group of Torredeita. It has also promoted the agro-pecuary cooperative "O Arado" and the Cooperativo de Artesanato de Rendas de Bilros e Trajes Regionais "O Enleio".

Casa da Torre, located at the foot of the serra da Cabreira, in the village of Abadim, illustrates the beauty typical of the Minho region. The traces of the building is unique, all of it built in granite. Is in fact the reference object in several books and articles on the built heritage of this region. Here benefits from the tranquility of the countryside and of the mountain. To breathe fresh air and perform physical exercise, nothing like walk by footpaths in the area.

This typical solar, dating from the 17th century, is located in a wine-growing estate with approximately thirteen acres, situated in the middle of the area classified as a world heritage site by UNESCO. Features a large garden, a kitchen garden, a swimming pool and a small chapel. Offers accommodation in 5 comfortable rooms and one apartment, which houses four people. Urban Palace with two floors, whose original construction dates from the 15th century. After being badly damaged by the earthquake of 1755, it was rebuilt between 1835 and 1836, settling here the Judicial Court of judicial district. In 1841, part of the building became the National Theatre, later called Teatro Virginia. Currently, it houses the headquarters of the Association of Defense of heritage and the band Torrejana Workers.

The main façade stands over a landing where one arrives from a stairway, under which there is passing water. One should notice the three stonework portals with a straight rod in architrave, the taller middle one, with an interrupted triangular gable, a cruxifix and forged iron gratings. Inside, one should pay close attention to the sculptured panel and to the side walls with blue painted wood.
