A delightful garden, built in 1892, where the three-hundred-year-old holm oak stands out as the city's landmark.

It is believed that the tower and the church were constructed on the 13th century. The church with longitudinal plan was reconstructed by the end on the 17th century. On the tower it stands out the door stonework, the niche, the round opening and the bell tower which is an older construction. On the church it stands out the pulpit settled in volute corbels and for the vault with stylized vegan motifs.

An easy pedestrian trail that is 11 km long and lasts about four and a half hours. One gets acuqianted with some of the council's marvels, namely the City Fortress and the village of Cossourado. The trail is thus named because it passes by several landmarks that used to indicate the roman miles of the military route.

This beach is located in the Ria Formosa Natural Park, opposite the village of Santa Luzia, the name by which it is also known. To get to the other side, access is guaranteed by a boat that makes these trips periodically, with a cost of €2.10, round trip. In the village of Santa Luzia there are restaurants and bares that serve octopus as a specialty.

The cruise and the Shrine of our Lady of conception are a devotional structure supported by a plinth placed on a platform. The cruise, with a small octagonal shaft is topped by a ball which supports a Celtic Cross. In front of this are the Shrine of Nossa Senhora da Conceição, a beautiful work of masonry. Granite block, rectangular format, where, on the front, was carved a deep niche with arched top, framed by humanized figures holding a wreath. Inside the niche is the sculpture of our Lady of the conception on a Crescent Moon.

The natural waterfalls stand out in this rustic and scenic village. The inhabitants are mostly craftsworkers who produce namely linen and wool works.

This village stands out for its old houses built with stonee blocks, by its cobblestone streets and by the flights of stairs between the houses.
