This viewpoint is located at the top of Monte de Cadafaz, and to get there you have to climb a granite staircase. At the top, there is a small sanctuary with an image of Our Lady of Sorrow and in the middle of the staircase there is a granite cross. The landscape is magnificent, and you can see a large part of the mountain with the various towns spread across the hillside and, in the background, the Serra de Montemuro.
Museu da Indústria Baleeira

Installed in the former whale factory of Armações Baleeiras Reunidas, this museum presents a permanent exhibition explaining the work carried out in the factory, namely the process of transforming the whale and the instruments and machinery used. In the blacksmith's workshop, you can see pieces such as harpoons and other materials used in whaling, and also watch them being worked on by artisans.

Although the primitive temple already existed in 1380, the current church would only be ready in 1587, after work began in 1572. In the 18th century it was restored. In it, you can see 18th century tiles, representing the mysteries of Christ and Our Lady, six side chapels with statuary value. On the main altar is the altarpiece of Our Lady of the Annunciation.
