A gravity-type dam located on the Cuiabá River. Near Manhente, the river spreads out into the vast sandy area of ​​Penide, surrounded by a pine forest. Fishing is permitted.

The Casa do Vale das Hortas was once one of the largest weaving centres in the municipality of Alcoutim, being today a pleasant cottage. Offers six rooms, all including bathroom and three common rooms, with fireplace and a cosy bar. The House is still equipped with traditional algarvian cuisine and a salt-water pool. This castle is located at the top of Cabeço da Penenciada, approximately 681 meters above sea level, between the Angueira and Maçãs rivers. The Almedina Arch was part of the medieval walls, dating back to the 11th century, as indicated by the Arabic-origin toponym meaning "the city". Today it is the entrance to old Coimbra, where one can see a sculpture from the workshop of João de Ruão. The wall has Roman origins, having been expanded several times. It presents characteristics of Roman, Muslim, Romanesque, Gothic and Manueline architecture.

Residential home designed by Alberto Vilhena de Carvalho and José Vilhena de Carvalho. Consisting of two floors based on a rectangular plant, the facade is disastrous and it highlights the structural elements, whose traces are simple and sober. Today only preserved a part of the Palace before, why are no longer some characteristic elements of this architecture, beyond which are still visible the damage caused by projectiles, in 1810.

The early church was built in the 16th century, which remains the Manueline portal. In 1970 was destroyed to make way for that today. The façade is rounded and consists of nave, chancel, belfry and vestry. Inside you can see 17TH century tiles and a wooden bench at the entrance, 1635, rebuilt during the rebuilding of the new Church. Currently, in late August, receives the feasts of Nossa Senhora do Desterro.

Once used freely by the population since the end of the 18th century, the Termas da Fadagosa de Nisa is today a modernly equipped thermal set. The Fadagosa spring is located 11 kilometers from the town of Nisa, and its waters are especially suitable for respiratory tract disorders, skin diseases and dermatological pathologies, physical medicine and rehabilitation, metabolic-endocrine diseases and rheumatic and musculoskeletal disorders.

Its construction began in 1866, having been inaugurated only in 1928. Several reasons justify the delay in construction, but the main thing is relative to lack of funds, that would be resolved only when the Theatrical Social Bejense negotiated with the Lee Castle. Today is the main halls of the show in the South of the country, with a capacity, in the audience and counter, 622 places. Is also composed by Studio Room, cafeteria and foyer.

The modest Our Pension has changed and today is already the Paços Ferrara Hotel. The restaurant, which was carrying the same name, changed also. Is more modern. Such as pension, also the name of the restaurant changed. Now it's called Aidé, in tribute to the grandmother of the owner and founder of space. Doesn't change the food quality, with taste of home, like the ox loin roasts, tripe of the port and the gelding to Freamunde.

Of the Romanesque construction of this important monastic church, first by the Canons Regular and later by the Dominicans, we can only point out the structure of the chancel, where the rose window stands out. All the rest of the monastic set, valuable for its artistic capital and for its local and regional influence, is the work of the Modern Period. We highlight the Baroque interventions that reveal a period of space revitalization in the 17th and 18th centuries.
