One of the loveliest parts of the Portuguese seashore. The pedestrian trail includes two steep descents and a few climbs. But the effort pays when, at the end of the traject, one descends the stairway of Praia Grande, with its magnificent views, and finds the dinosaur footsteps.

It is one of the oldest gardens of the city, idealized by the Marquês de Pombal, in 1771. This garden invokes the trees whose plantation was ordered by the Marquês that have been replaced recently. The name of the garden pays homage to the playwright, poet and writer Marcelino Mesquita.

The Chafariz da Colher is a fountain with a base and an ajutage made of granite. It is sided by a wall shaped as a tank. Considered to be the oldest fountain in the city, is name is owed to a tribute people had to pay for each bag that entered the Porto city: a spoon of cereals.

Antique tiles depicting the Douro grape harvest and the people. They also pay homage to the Marquis of Pombal, responsible for demarcating the Douro Demarcated Region in 1756, currently the oldest in the world. Peso da Régua is considered the capital of the Douro Demarcated Region.

Space located on the Tower of Almedina, which allows visitors to discover the medieval city of Coimbra. In its interpretive center, you can see a model of the medieval town and, on the top floor, you can get a magnificent view over the whole city.

Church built in the 16th century and restored in the 17th and 18th centuries. Highlights include the Coimbra tiles, which were applied in the several chapels at different times, the altarpiece of the Espírito Santo Chapel and a 14th century stone sculpture representing the Virgin and Child.

A bar that functions on a tram, with a picturesque decor. The interior is wooden, there are pillows on the benches and there are outsid looking windows. During the summer, it usually has a terrace on the outside, proteected by thee sades of the trees that render this space even more pleasant.
