Caves discovered in 1971 that feature a gallery/room/shaft configuration. They have beautiful rooms and galleries filled with limestone formations, with a visitable length of 350 meters and a depth of 45 meters. There is an underground bar located in an adjacent cave, Cova da Moura, where there is a fully illuminated cave extending for about 50 meters.

It was built in the 1960s and covers approximately 38,000 square meters. Surrounded by a wall on all sides, it is bordered by houses, the river, the school, and the park's facilities. Currently, it belongs to the Regional Directorate of Agriculture of Trás-os-Montes. It is an excellent place to visit with family and friends. This is one of the small villages of the Natural Park of the Estrela Mountain, at an altitude of 580 metres. Most of its inhabitants are farmers these days, even though the culture of linen used to be an activity until quite recently. The houses are made of granite, which is an architectural feature of this region. Nearby, one may visit the Caldeirão dam or practise mountaineering.

The project of an artificial tropical forest began in 1910. The Greenhouse opened in 1930 and has four spaces: three greenhouses and a walking area by the lake.
