Located on the north side of the Bay of Horta, just outside of town, Praia da Conceição stands out for its soft and dark sands and the beautiful location, with the Marina South and the no less imposing Pico Island on the horizon. The chapel, which burned in 1895, has very simple lines, with a masonry portal and an opening on the fronton, composed of a high altar and a sacristy. Two different architectural modules can be viewd here. Inside, one can find a John Paul II tile of the 1980s and a Saint Peter of the 18th century.

Station where you will find numerous traces belonging to the Roman city of Balsa. Enhance up mosaics, baths, fish salting tanks and several graves. Are visible two inscriptions that confirm the existence of a circus, and may be added that, probably, the city has a theatre and an amphitheatre. Are classified as Property in the public interest.

Bronze age carvings in granite rock formations, with exceptionally located dimension. The figures represented are characterized by the high number of rings of concentric circles. The access is done by Ozão, where you will find the chapel of Senhor da Boa Morte. There follows a dirt road to the left of the chapel for about 200 meters.

Also known as "Penedo de Bouça de Fervenças". It is na inscription engraved on an oval granite block inside a roman sanctuary. It is located in a wood on the base of the hill where we can find the "Citãnia" (a celtic village). In the museum of the Sanfins Citãnia there is a replica of this rock and a poster that describes its engravings.

The restaurant Foral de Melgaço is located in the Hotel Monte Prado. It has a modern atmosphere, with a sober decor and panoramic views of the Minho river and of the Spanish hillsides, especially if one chooses the terrace that overlooks the landscape. In this restaurant one can find the best traditional Portuguese cuisine with several regional dishes.
