The area of downtown Lisbon, more specifically Rua do Comércio, won a new hotel in recent months. This is the first from this hotel chain and the image couldn't be better. Very modern, with beautiful details and decorative pieces that evoke bygone days, from gold to strong colors, black and white tones. The space, in its entirety, it transmits that well-being extends to 66 fully equipped double rooms and where not even lack a letter of pillows for a custom rest. In a building, recovered, five-storey, there is still room for a small restaurant.
This construction is from 1490 and has Diogo Boitaca signature. This is a highly important work on the Portuguese architectonic history; hence it is one of the first constructions to present Manueline architecture features. To stand out the main chapel and the glazed tiles revetment from various periods.
Baroque chapel and revivalist, dated 1731, with a longitudinal plan consists of a nave and a rectangular sacristy. Is adossado to this chapel a wall of the farm with a revivalist portal with triple pediment divided by cornices, who is believed to have been built in the 19th century. This portal features an image of Saint Michael fighting the devil and flanked by angels.
Restaurant belonging to the Vintage Lisboa Hotel, situated between the Avenida da Liberdade and the Prince Royal. Divided into two distinct areas, the restaurant and bar with snacks, both decorated in classic and elegant style. The letter based on a composition of traditional Portuguese dishes, out of the hands of chef Victor Cardoso.
