This House is on the premises of the Junta de Freguesia do Coentral since 2002, since this was the House where he was born, in 1835, d. Manuel Agostinho Barreto, Bishop of Funchal. Here you can find the booty and the whole history of the Morris dancers of Neveiros Coentral and to its founder, Herlander Machado, in 1964, and various tributes paid to castanheirenses, their customs and to their homes.

It is known locally as "praça" (square) and is a building, inaugurated in 1947, that occupies a vast area, very close to the city center. There you can find fresh products such as fruits, vegetables, fish, meat, bread, and food establishments. The headquarters of the Association of Portuguese Wine Municipalities is located in its tower, and on one of its sides there is a very pleasant spot, the Duck Pond.

Castle where you can find traces from the Bronze end to the late Roman era. Located in the town's historic area, more precisely in the old Town Hall, the museum has two sections. In the Archaeology section, you can see archaeological finds that marked human presence in the municipality, from the Mirense period, the Bronze Age, and the Muslim occupation. The Ethnography section houses a collection of agricultural implements. The Municipal Art Gallery is located in the same building.

Museum located in the Geodesic Center of Portugal, at the top of the Melriça mountain range, resulting from a partnership with the Portuguese Geographic Institute. Here you will find objects and documents on display about Picoto da Melriça and the evolution of cartography from the 19th century onwards. It also has a small store with objects related to the municipality and geodesy, a multimedia auditorium and a bar.

The Machico Museum Center is a cultural institution created by the Machico City Council, after the restoration of the Solar do Ribeirinho property (built in the 17th century). In this museum you can find, in an interactive way, stories and characters that made up the current City of Machico throughout its almost 600 years of history, distributed across the four thematic areas on display.
