Primary school opened in 1934 and restored in 1955, when it was then installed the Junta de Freguesia of Forjães, the Social and Cultural Centre, an auditorium and the Municipal Library. In 2004, was inaugurated here the leisure lounge Hall Faraz.

U plant building opened with triple coverage on roof of four waters. The 23 mala-posta stations included in the route between Lisbon and Oporto obeyed all the same typology, typical of the iron architecture.

Azulejos painting offered by the painter Júlio Resende to the Porto city. In this painting you can see the life, the Ribeira colours along 54m. It was open in 1987 and its name is Ribeira Negra (Dark Ribeira).
