The Maia Zoo was created in 1985 and aims to be a center for research, preservation, and dissemination of information about species, especially among schools. This space has its own clinic and qualified staff, housing more than 300 animals. Within this area are the Picnic Park, the Maia Seal Pavilion, the Mysterious Nature exhibit, the Reptile Garden, and the Children's Playground.

Located on a hill close to the city of Oliveira de Azeméis, La Salette Park was created in 1909 and is currently managed by the La Salette Foundation. Considered an unavoidable reference in the region at an environmental and leisure level, this forest area was classified as being of public interest by the National Forestry Authority in 2009, during the anniversary of its centenary, rewarding size, age, rarity and, above all, species diversity, highlighting the Australian tea tree and the sequoia. The park also features a lake and the La Salette chapel, an important place of worship and architectural interest.

The Montes Claros Garden is part of the Monsanto Forest Park and was designed by the architect Francisco Keil do Amaral. It has a long garden, with a viewpoint overlooking the Tagus estuary. It also has an adequate space for holding large events.

In this 16th century park, from the reign of Dom Fernando, there are statues, water surfaces, belvederes and several plants. The entrance costs 3.5 €, 2 € for youngsters and senior citizens. It may be visited between 9 am and 8 pm.

The forest covers more than 33 hectares and is considered the lungs of this municipality. The highest point in the Forest is 500 meters high, where the Chapel of Santo António is located. It has a picnic park, exercise circuit and leisure areas.

Opened in 2001, the Linear Park of the Valley of flowers is a free leisure area, located in the urban area of the Valley of flowers. Features a bike path and pedestrian circuit, a sports ground with artificial turf floors and several amusement equipment.

Viewpoint that offers a magnificent view of the sea and the green slopes of the island. It is the closest place to the São Lourenço Peninsula, a Partial Natural Reserve in the Madeira Natural Park and part of the list of Sites of Community Interest in the Natura 2000 Network.

Very nice Green Park, with about four hectares. Features a pedestrian pathway, a circuit of maintenance, a bike path and a mini-golf course. Emphasis on the CiclOeiras post, where you can order a bike to use for free.

A unique leisure space in Porto Moniz, the Parque Urbano (Urban Park) has a children's playground and several shops. The two banks of the small river of São Vicente are united by a wooden bridge thus connecting it to the old pathway.

A park with about 40000 square metres of green areas, that has the following support installations: a picnic area, a maintenance circuit and an old train carriage that is undergoing recovery and that will be used as a support spot for the activities that will take place here.
