Beach in Portugal
A beach located in the middle of the Cascais line, very well conceited, located by the mouth of the Tejo river and the fortress of São Julião da Barra.Rather sought after mostly by the youngsters, it has good conditions for winsurfing and there is even a windsurf school there.There are hal a dozen bars and restaurants that offer good mornings, afternoons and evenings.

A small river beach located by the small town of Fuseta. Despite its dimensions and the fact that the water quality could be better, it becomes crowded with tourists in the summer. Nearby there are several restaurants that serve mostly shellfish dishes.
Largo da Ribeira Velha
A small port, located by the fishing docks and the pier from where the boats to the Berlengas islands depart. It has paid parking, a few shops and fine restaurants with typical dishes.

A river beach with an earth floor by the Sousa river banks. There is a picnic area and a children's playground.
Praia de Porto Pim
Hidden City of Horta by Monte Queimado, the beach of Porto Pim features a soft sand and dark, very own of these volcanic islands. The Bay of Porto Pim is undoubtedly a place of rare beauty. The Monte da Guia and the aforementioned Lot Burned are natural barriers to entry of seawater, making these calm waters and a deep blue. We finished off by surrounding green spaces and a complex of fortifications at Bay, leading to many beachgoers to consider the best beach of the island.

There is a market, many shops, the Arts Centre and the Ria Formosa Natural Park that are all good for nice strolls. If you happen to go to Manta Rota in August, do visit the craftswork fair that takes place every year at that season.
