This medieval house, dated 11TH\/12th centuries it belonged to Dona Teresa, mother of Afonso Henriques. This is a farm dedicated to organic farming, with emphasis on the wines produced there.

The Old School House, in Vila Viçosa, is a 16TH century manor, purchased in 1602 by Dom Teodósio II, Duke of Braganza. It was the first home of the society of Jesus in Vila Viçosa.
