Talasnal

This schist village, located at an altitude of 500 meters in the Serra da Lousã, boasts unique beauty and is part of the Schist Villages Network. The village's only restaurant, a small but always popular restaurant, was named after one of its inhabitants, Ti Lena. There's a small shop selling Talasnicos and other homemade delicacies. After being abandoned a few years ago, these houses were occupied by hippies from northern Europe and also by families from Coimbra for vacation homes, but many remain empty. The green vegetation and the brownish schist characterize the landscape, so it's worth exploring the many narrow streets that always converge in the Serra.
