Casa e Quinta de Vilar d'Allen

It was built in 1839 as a summer residence for John Allen. The camellias of the fifth, well known, came to win some prizes. The farm is still owned by the Allen family. John Allen is also responsible for the introduction of some specimens of plants and shrubs in Portugal. The farm is still owned by the Allen family.
