Igreja de Santa Maria do Castelo
Building from the XIII century, rebuilt after the earthquake of 1755. It keeps the gothic structure and doorway. At the main chapel is the tomb of the seven knights of Santiago Order, killed by the moors on an ambush, which the legend relates to the conquest of the city. From the assets of the sacred art, composed by jewellery from the XVI and XVIII centuries and vestments, a reading - desk from the XVI / XVII centuries is worthy of notice.
