Vieira do Minho
Flanqueado por las sierras de Cabreira y Gerês, el municipio de Vieira do Minho se caracteriza por su carácter rural. Los ríos Cávado y Rabagão, al norte, envuelven el paisaje, y al sur se encuentra el embalse de Ermal. La gastronomía del municipio es uno de sus principales atractivos. La ternera barrosã, la cabra, la col con judías, el cocido portugués, el bacalao y, especialmente, los rojões y las "Papas de Sarrabulho" hacen las delicias de quienes lo visitan. El queso de oveja curado proviene de las estribaciones de la Serra da Cabreira. Además de la cestería de Parada do Bouro, este municipio también es hogar de la artesanía del cobre, incluyendo réplicas de alambiques y mantas de burel. La fiesta de la Senhora da Fé, que se celebra el primer domingo de junio, es la más significativa, pero julio y agosto también son épocas de peregrinación.
