Operating since 2017 in the former Neurosurgery Service of the Santo António dos Capuchos Hospital, it displays the interesting exhibition “800 Years of Health in Portugal”, with pieces from the Portuguese Red Cross and the Museum of Natural History and Science. Entry is free, but it is only open on Wednesdays.

Entrance to the Museum Center is free, but if you want to access the top floor, where José Saramago's estate is located, you will have to pay.

It was between 1991 and 1995, during works on Rua dos Correeiros, in a bank building, that ruins over 2500 years old were discovered. Currently, the Rua dos Correeiros Archaeological Center focuses on the different phases of occupation of downtown Lisbon, taking visitors on a journey through the Ibero-Punic, Roman, Visigothic, Islamic, Medieval, 16th century and Pombaline periods. Entry is always free, but advance booking is advisable.

Luís Serra Museum Center

Set at the headquarters of the Bemposta Musical and Recreational Group, the Luís Serra Museum Center displays a wide collection that has been gathered, over three decades, by the Folklore and Ethnography Musical Group “Os Ceifeiros da Bemposta”. Here you can see costumes, agricultural implements and transport, utensils of all types and furniture. Take the opportunity and visit the other rooms, where you can get to know the host community and their trophies.
