Fortress bulwarked from the 17th century that had the objective of protecting the village and the port. Together with the Fortim de Palheiros and the Fort of Santa Catarina in Figueira da Foz, it integrated the defensive system of this stretch of coast, particularly the old seaport of the village.

This mountain belongs to the Old Massif of Entre Douro e Tejo and its highest point is at 1227 meters. It also has a dense afforestation due to the extensive planting work, namely chestnut trees, carried out at the end of the 13th century, during the reign of Dom Dinis. It presents a great diversity of flowers, having some unique species in Portugal. A popular pilgrimage is held annually at the top of the mountain in the chapel of São Macário.

Classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the historic center of Guimarães is a clear example of the preservation of a medieval urban core, in what is now a modern city. Mannerist and Baroque church with a longitudinal plan consisting of a nave, a narrower and lower chancel, a sacristy, an annex and two bell towers. It was rebuilt in the 18th century on an old Romanesque temple, of which no traces remain.

Pillory rebuilt in 1935 using some fragments of the original, destroyed in 1882. It has seven quadrangular steps, an octagonal shaft column, a capital made up of several rings and a trunk-pyramidal finish topped by a crucifix

Rectangular house with two and three floors, with outbuildings attached to the rear facade. On the facade, a stone of arms stands out. It was probably built in the 18th century and then remodeled in the 20th century, having been transformed into a restaurant.

Baroque manor house with a rectangular plan with two floors and a symmetrical main facade. The internal space is developed through two staircases arranged longitudinally to the main facade. It was built in the late 18th century by Francisco Lopes Sarafana Correia da Silva, believed to have been built over an old residence of the Society of Jesus.

Pombaline building with a rectangular plan, simple volume and horizontal layout. It has three floors with a hipped roof and symmetrical facades. It was opened in 1764 as a wool factory, where the City Hall currently operates.

Consisting of two metal decks, which were intended to make the road connection between Vila Nova de Gaia and Porto, this bridge measures 395 meters in length and 8 meters in width, comprising 5.5 meters of carriageway and 1.25 meters meters of walkways. This construction, designed by the engineer Teófilo Seyrig, was one of the largest works in the road plan carried out by the monarch Luís I.
