This ancient monastery founded in the 12th century is dedicated to tourism today, featuring eight bedrooms and a suite. Their ancestral history, it is known that, at the time of Dom Afonso Henriques, the monastery remained the Cistercian order until 1834, the time of its extinction. Was sold at public auction and only in 1982 it was purchased by the current owners. The restoration preserved the moth.

Membership in times of the order of Christ, this temple keeps on this time, only a Roman portal, presenting also a bell tower with pyramidal crowning. Inside stands the hoist of the main altar. The chancel has coverage in towed barrel vault and stands in the altarpiece of the high altar, the national style gilded altarpieces and the side altars the Gothic carving.
