Chapel situated on a small elevation, in the old Rossio das Hortas, surrounded by houses on both sides and with a front patio. Ancient records do repackage its existence to the year 1536. It was then remodelled in the 17th and 18th centuries. Inside are murals, chronicling nine moments of life of St. Peter. The paintings have a baroque nature and are subtitled in archaic Portuguese. Is located on private property.

In 1762, with the purpose of strengthening the defenses of the fortress of São João da Barra, proceeded to the construction of a battery consisting of a parapet of masonry to which, years later, added a wall of stone and lime, closing the enclosure. Badly damaged by successive attacks, began to be leased to private individuals. On the occasion of the construction of the Marginal, in 1942, was restored. In 1955 was obtained the evacuation of premises and went on to work as a summer camp.

Founded in the 12th century by the Benedictine Order, this monastery was significantly altered by a fire in 1664. It features a 16th-century cloister and part of a 17th-century one. The church, dating from the 17th century, features 17th- and 18th-century tiles. Notable features include the sculptures on the main altarpiece, attributed to Friar Cipriano da Cruz, the paintings on the choir stalls, the Rococo organ, and the cloisters.

Former Mannerist Franciscan convent. Currently, the Mesão Frio City Council, the Land Registry and the Tourism Office operate in the convent building. The interior of the church features wooden ceilings, a nave with a high choir, pulpits and two chapels. Together with the Convent of São Francisco de Vinhais, it constituted one of the two convents of the Order of Friars Minor that were Apostolic Seminaries in the district.

Installed in the building that was, from the 16th century until 1834, the 13th Convent of the Order of Arrábidos, it opened its doors to the public as a museum in 1998 and presents several exhibitions related to the municipality of Loures, namely, archeology, ethnography and visual arts. It preserves two milestones found during the construction of the new Palace of Justice in the city of Loures, where a Roman Villa was also identified.

The church is due to King Sebastião who, by charter of 1571, ordered it to be built. It is a temple with a tripartite facade, with a galilee opening in the central body. The lateral bodies are made up of imposing bell towers. Interior of three naves with round arcades and stone pilasters. The Baroque carved altars, the Estremoz marble altarpiece and Mannerist paintings from the end of the 16th century deserve special attention.

16th century church ordered to be built by the monarch King Manuel I. Temple with three naves where the gilded altars and tiles from the Lisbon School stand out inside. There are also some traces of Spanish-Moorish tiles from the 16th century. The bell tower was built later, in the 17th century. Some of the assets were stolen during the French Invasions.

Built in the beginning of the XVIII century (1746-1752) planned by Nicolau Nasoni, this building’s stairs was placed on one of the sides due to the exigencies of the ground plot (too narrow). At the door you can see the blazonry of the order. The windows have iron bars, which is typical of the first half of the XVII century. The house is divided in three floors and an underground, where the cemetery of the brotherhood is.
