This park stretches for about 1.5 kilometers, following the course of the Fresno River. It's a recreational area with pedestrian trails along the banks and a pier with support equipment. Along the river, you'll see restored mills, fountains, and watermills.

Convent initially built in the 13th century and then rebuilt in the second half of the 17th century. Currently, it is in ruins, however, it is still a magnificent monument that is worth visiting. Along the mountainside, you can still see the convent's sidewalk.

The Pavilhão do Conhecimento (Knowledge Pavillion) is a Live Science Museum that makes science available to everyone. It opened in 1999 and has temporary and permanent exhibitions such as the "Exploratorium", the "See, Do, Learn"!", the "Live Mathematics" and the "Unfinished House".

Eclectic building, designed by Ernesto da Maia. Consists of only one block. In its interior you can see ceilings painted by Welcome dinner. While not a large space, it adapts to the needs of recreational region.

Built in the XVII century, it has a baroque front and, inside, are worthy of notice the golden woodcarving altars and the glazed tile panels. A legend says there are three cocks sculpted at the front, but most people only see two.

This castle has a rectangular plan and initially it was reinforced by eight semicircular towers with square plan keep. It is placed on a hill at 45 metres high from where it is possible to see São Martinho do Porto Bay.

Tower next to the see of Leiria, and 18th-century square plan with two bells on each side. The Bell Tower of Largo Dr. Manuel de Arriaga is of Baroque style and rises through the houses of the historical center.

Near Foz de Alge (Alge river) are the Fragas or Penhas de São Simão. In addition to the beautiful landscape that surrounds it, you can see, from here, the ruins of blacksmiths, dating back to the 18th century.

Composed of two beaches (of the fortress and of the Path of the monastery) boasts crystal clear waters, coral reefs, sea caves and the Fort of São João Baptista, must-see. Is not monitored and is only accessible by boat from Peniche.

A small beach with calm, crystal-clear waters and a rich marine fauna. In the background, you can see Pedra da Anicha, a zoological reserve with great plant and animal diversity. Nearby is a cave, Lape de Santa Margarida, with traces of Lower Paleolithic man. In the distance, you can see the Forte de Nossa Senhora da Arrábida. Quality restaurants offer typical regional dishes, highlighting Azeitão cheese, honey, and wine. It has been classified as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Portugal.
