Modernist building built between 1959 and 1961, getting up and running here the Guild of the crop until 1978. Since then, I've worked in this building an agricultural cooperative, a Union of cooperatives and, until now, a tax office. The building features a trapezoidal plan with two floors and roofs coverage of four waters, some circular skylights.

This 18th-century building, which once served as a primary school and as the Maia Town Hall, now houses the Museum of History and Ethnology of the Land of Maia, with two floors and large exhibition rooms. The ground floor is occupied with the games-saloon, a functional structure marked by a set of platforms and staircases. The other floors are occupied with galleries. On top of the building there’s a terrace.

A Mannerist and Rococo church, built in the 16th century, consisting of a single nave and a lower, narrower chancel. A bell tower and a sacristy are also attached to the facade. Having been burned down several times by pirates and corsairs who landed on the island, it now preserves beautiful altarpieces and paintings inside, by Martim Conrado and Max Romer.
